Hardy and I have been paired on a few missions together and we sort of hit it off right away. At first I was on comms with her, talking her through missions from the helicopter and making sure she got out alright and got the treatment she needed with the mission was complete. Sort of served as her handler for a few SHIELD missions. 

Then we finally did one as both field agents. That was certainly different but enjoyable none the less. 

Now we’ve been sort of hanging out outside of work. She’s a good friend to have. Extremely capable and skilled.

Just wanted to send some hugs to all my RP partners. You are all amazing and I love and adore all of you! I know I haven't been on as much in the last month or two with lots of stuff going on in RL and everyone has been extremely patient with me and I just enjoy writing with all of you and wanted to take a moment to tell you all how much you all mean to me! Hiatus notice

I know it feels like I just got back from a temporary hiatus (because I did) but I'm going on another one for a convention and Go Fest and so I'm currently on hiatus. 🍓 - What’s your sweetest rp experience so far?

This is actually a really tough question because I've had a lot of great RP partners. I think the best way for me to handle this question is to make a list of a bunch of them that come to mind. That being said, there's a few that should be on this list that aren't and that's because their blogs have just outright been deleted, but here's all the ones that come to mind the most for me. Also only including one blog per person although many of these people have had multiple blogs that I've interacted with. A few updates

It’s been an interesting last few weeks and I had to tell everyone about a few things.  I used to do these types of posts all the time, but haven’t done them as much recently but I’ve had a few technical issues lately and wanted to make sure everyone was aware of a few things in case of issues.

1. I have not purposely unfollowed anyone in the last few weeks.  I mention this because every time I go to see anyone’s profile on the dash, it looks like I’m not following them even though I am.  While I don’t think this technical issue has actually caused any real unfollowing, I do want to address it.  If I’ve unfollowed you recently, it’s a mistake and I’d love to be aware of that mistake so I can re-follow :D

2. Another issue I’ve been having lately is with my thread tracker.  As of late, it hasn’t been telling me the dates threads have been replied to and all the information about threads every time I load it up.  Between this and the technical issue with Tumblr, I’m afraid of missing replies.  If I ever go a week without replying to anything, let me know!  Send me a link!  I always try to reply to everything within a week and if I don’t, that usually means I’ve missed it and need to know about it!  Anyone who is ever curious about threads with me by the way can find my thread tracker’s public view by clicking here.  It doesn’t have anything that hasn’t been replied to in a month or longer, so if you don’t find your thread on there that could also be a reason why, although feel free to continue those if you want to! :D

3. Likewise, if there’s anything on the dash you want to make sure is seen by myself (or anyone else you interact with for that matter) besides just threads, I’d suggest tagging them and/or messaging me/them directly.  Like I said, Tumblr is clearly having a few technical issues atm and I’m not entirely sure everything has been showing up on my dash.  In addition, work has started back up so I may not always get to browse through my entire dash.

4. I want to apologize for the large amount of ask memes, starter calls and open roleplays th is week and last.  While I know many actually enjoy this, some might see it as spamming the dash, which is not the intention.  I went a few months without much muse there and as of late, I’ve been starting to get it back, making me want lots of interactions and lots of different interactions with lots of different people!  It’s been pretty fun actually, but I know not everyone may appreciate this equally and wanted to apologize for it for that reason.  Starting on Monday, my blog should go back to just regular replies and reblogs from the dash as usual.

5. Speaking of those starter calls, if those actually do interest you, you can check out this starter call by clicking here, you can have me send you ask memes by clicking here and liking this starter call thing, and you can also check this out for me to reply to your open starters!  I also have a plotting call you can find by clicking here.  These are all open to everyone, not just new partners.

6. I’ve also been working on my blog a bit lately.  I’ve updated my rules (click here for those) and also my about page (click here for that).  Mostly minor things but still might be worth checking out.  I also updated my mun page (click here for that), although it was also mostly minor stuff, just updating for current year since it’s been a bit.  I also edited a few headcannons to be a bit more specifics (click here to see those) along with fixing my RP ideas page (click here for that) and lastly you can find all this and more on my navigation page (click here for that).  I’ll probably be updating a few more things over the next few weeks, but don’t expect a bit post about that lol.

7. So I’m planning on having another meme day here soon, probably Saturday, September 5th as long as I remember to do so!  For those who haven’t been here as long, once and a while (usually once every three or four months) I used to do these meme days, where I’d try and send in every single ask meme I see that day.  It’s obviously not entirely possible due to the only 10 asks per hour limit, but I do try.  I like to make sure people are aware so they can reblog some of their favorite memes so yeah, that’s a thing I’m somewhat planning.

8. The last thing I wanted to talk about, is how much I appreciate every single one of you!  I know I haven’t been super into RP the last few months and I’m not sure if that showed in the quality of my writing.  I know there were a few days where I didn’t get replies out at all, which is a bit unusual for me.  I want to thank you all for sticking with me!  You are all great and I enjoy every single person I’m currently RPing with or have RPed with in the last 6 months to a year!  I’ve tried to tag all of you in this post but may have missed a few because it’s a rather long list.  I would HIGHLY recommend you check out any of these blogs below the cut that you may find interesting!  There’s a lot of them there, but they are all fantastic and amazing and I enjoy every single last one of them!  These are really fantastic people and if anyone is trying to find more people to interact with, I’d suggest checking out this list!  I know a few of these are people I’ve just started interacting with and may not have even introduced myself to yet (don’t worry, I will) but even those blogs are worth checking out!  So yes, I’d recommend any of these lovely blogs!

It feels weird to be doing this again, especially so soon after the last one, but I did want to mention a few things to my roleplay partners briefly.  So sorry for interrupting your dash/activity with this.  I’m not going to make a habit out of it.

1. For the first time all year, my hiatus tracker has been updated!  Yeah, I usually use this for letting people know when I’ll be on vacation or at conventions and things like that.  However, this has been an odd year with COViD and everything.  That being said, my brother is getting married and I’m one of the groomsmen and it’s also out of state, so I’m going to take a temporary hiatus in October, specifically I’ll be gone with no replies from October 19th to 26th. I know that’s pretty far out in advanced letting people know but I’m a planning type person and wanted to make sure everyone knew ahead of time in case I forget to put up a notice.

2. There’s a question that’s bothered me for quite a while now and it’s how other people find new rp partners.  I know how I go about doing it, but how does everyone else?  Specifically what types of posts and what types of tags people use.  I’m doing a survey and I plan on sharing the results in a few weeks.  If anyone would like to take it to help out, the link can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KSW73C7

3. Speaking of that survey, I’ve already gotten a few results and am going to be testing a few things this week with open starters and memes, so I’ve scheduled a few of those in the queue to look out for if anyone is interested.  I also put some Doctor Who stuff in there and I’ve changed my reply schedule so the blog make look a bit different this week but it will have content 24/7, including replies.  Trying to make sure there’s something there for people of different time zones.  A lot of Doctor Who memes and stuff are in the queue as well.  It should be a fun week!

4. Activity tab seems to have changed and when I went through my threads earlier it seems I missed a few.  Going to remind everyone once more that if I don’t reply to something within a week, do feel free to message me!  Seriously, with Tumblr making so many changes, it’s VERY easy for things to get lost and I don’t intentionally drop things without letting the person I’m interacting with know first.  This means if I haven’t replied to something (it can take a few days and up to a week) I may not have seen it!  And if things do need to be dropped, let me know!  I’m perfectly fine dropping things as needed as long as I’m told!  I also enjoy starting new things as well and am fine plotting or winging it! :D

6. . I wanted to take a minute to promote all of you again!  Like I said before, I do not plan on making this list thing where I tag everyone a regular thing.  I usually only do this once every 6 months or so, sometimes less than that and usually really only when tumblr makes changes to let everyone know how I’m adjusting to changes and let them know anything else going on, and sometimes I don’t even do it that often, but stuff happens.  But I really do enjoy all these people so...

So, I have a few partners now that I have quite a few threads with.  Most of my partners that I interact with, I have at least 2-3 threads, but a few I have much more than that.  I’ve noticed some will reply to everything at once, while some will spread out their replies to the same partner a bit and so it makes me wonder how people prefer to get their replies.  Since I use a queue, I can use any method and if people prefer I do things differently than I already do, I can change it up.  So I made this survey to figure that out.  It’s only 1-2 questions and it will help determine how I do things on this blog in the future.  You can click here to take the survey.  I’d greatly appreciate it and would especially appreciate the blogs I do have multiple threads with taking it.  Thank you.

NAME:  Only the people absolutely closest to him even have a hint of an idea what his real name is.  I have a headcannon regarding that on my headcannons page.  Truth is, I’m not even sure where to begin on coming up with a real name for him. NICKNAME: The Doctor AGE: He’s lost track.  Somewhere between 1000-1700 years old, depending on where in his timeline you are interacting with him. SPECIES: Time Lord RELIGIOUS BELIEF: Time Lords were extremely logical and scientific.  He doesn’t 100 percent believe in anything but he’s open to the idea of any gods and deities from any religion once proven. SINS: greed / gluttony / sloth / lust  / pride / envy / wrath VIRTUES: chastity / charity / diligence / humility / kindness / patience / justice PRIMARY GOALS: For most of his life, his primary goal has just been to run as fast as he can, to see everything he can see and help anyone he can along the way.  More recently however, he’s also been looking for Gallifrey. LANGUAGES KNOWN: He claims to speak every language, including random things like horse and baby, but the truth is that the TARDIS is actually translating for him and he only actually speaks Gallifreyian. Even after he discovered he saved Gallifrey rather than burn it, he still deeply regrets most of his actions during the time war.  Even outside of that specific action, he did lots of terrible things during that time in his life and he tries to forget most of it or at least as much of it as he can.

He used to be a master of martial arts in his third face.  However what most people may not realize is that he actually forgot all of that.  He went so long without using it, he doesn’t remember how to do any of it and is in the process of re-learning it all.

Although his taste buds do change from face to face, the one thing consistent with all of his regenerations is that he really hates pears.

Because of how much time he’s spent on Earth, he’s started to mentally become more human than Time Lord, although he doesn’t generally like to admit that even to himself.

SAVVIES: The Doctor is an absolute genius.  He knows just about everything there is to know yet constantly looks for more things he doesn’t know. BUILD: scrawny / bony / slender / fit / athletic / curvy / herculean / bulky / pudgy / average HEIGHT: 6 feet tall or 182 cm for those who follow metric WEIGHT:158 pounds or 72 kg SCARS / BIRTHMARKS:  Due to that whole regeneration thing and being a Time Lord, he has no scars or birthmakes

ABILITIES / POWERS: Regeneration is the main ability he has, however he is capable of limited telepathy and a few other time lord abilities that can be found here.  More reading can also be done here.  Last link to read can be found by clicking here.  Of course, he’s also a genius.  With 50 years of cannon, it would be difficult to list everything he can do. RESTRICTIONS: Ultimately, he isn’t some kind of super human.  Also, if someone kills him a second time while regenerating, chances are he’s dead for good.  He can only regenerate 13 times and is currently on his last regeneration (or so he thinks) and has a few minor biological weaknesses that wouldn’t affect humans as well.  He’s a list of some things he’s weak to that you can read by clicking here. FAVORITE FOOD: Fish Fingers and Custard FAVORITE DRINK: Tea FAVORITE PIZZA TOPPING: He doesn’t have a favorite.  There’s very few human foods he doesn’t like, or at least of the ones he can eat. FAVORITE COLOR: Blue, like the TARDIS. FAVORITE MUSIC GENRE: All of them.  He’s not picky and enjoys discovering new styles of music as he discovers new cultures. FAVORITE BOOK GENRE: All of them.  He’s not picky and enjoys discovering new genres of music as he discovers new cultures. FAVORITE MOVIE GENRE: Once again, he’s not picky.  The only kind of movie he doesn’t like are scifi because they are wrong too often. FAVORITE SEASON: He’s a Time Traveler.  Seasons don’t matter to him. FAVORITE CURSE WORD: It’s a word in Gallifreyian and you wouldn’t be able to pronounce it, but the closest translation would be hell or heck, as in “what the hell?” but the word could also be used to replace the word damn as in “damn it,” interchangeably.  This is why those are the only two “curse words,” you’ve ever seen him say in the cannon show, because that’s how the TARDIS translates the one word which is the same to him. FAVORITE SCENTS: The TARDIS after a fresh repair. SINGS IN THE SHOWER: On occasion.  The song varies from time to time. LIKES BAD PUNS: Usually, but not always.

Promotions!

I just wanted to take a moment to promote some people and some things!

A few blogs I’d like to promote!

Since I’ll be away for a bit and I’d like to satisfy your RP needs regardless of me being away, I figured a post like this was in order.  If you are looking for some new RP partners to interact with, here are some recommendations of mine.  I tried to only include blogs that are moderately active or more, and I tried to only include blogs that I’ve had at least a little bit more than just a little bit of interaction with.  These are all blogs that I really do think you should follow and interact with, because they are all great writers, great roleplayers and most of them are good friends.  These are all people that I think anyone following me, would probably enjoy almost as much, if not more.  So yeah, check these lovely people out!
